As part of our strategic growth in the cloud data space, we’re looking for a Sales Executive with experience in cloud data platforms to drive sales of our consulting, integration, and managed services. You will be building a qualified pipeline, engaging with enterprise and mid-market clients, positioning our offerings across the Snowflake platform, and closing impactful deals.

The Sales Executive will focus primarily on driving sales of Snowflake-related services to clients in South Africa, as well as international clients from the Middle East and other global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new clients with a need for Snowflake data platform solutions.
  • Build and grow relationships with ecosystem partners and internal technical teams.
  • Drive end-to-end sales cycles: from lead generation and qualification to deal closure.
  • Tailor proposals around cloud-based data architectures, in collaboration with technical pre-sales experts.
  • Understand client data infrastructure needs and position our offering effectively.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, timelines, and scope of work.
  • Contribute to go-to-market (GTM) strategy for cloud data services.
  • Track KPIs and revenue targets in CRM and report on performance regularly.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in B2B IT sales, ideally with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Oracle DB, AWS Redshift, etc.).
  • Experience working with enterprise and/or mid-market clients across different geographies.
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, modern data stack, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience creating and negotiating service-based proposals in software or data/analytics consulting.
  • Familiarity with sales tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar CRMs.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, with strong business acumen and client empathy.

Nice to Have

  • Direct sales experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
  • Existing network in data & analytics industry or cloud-native clients.
  • Technical literacy in data warehousing, data pipelines, and BI/analytics tools.
